Iain Orme

BArch (Hons) Dip. Arch (Hons)

Iain trained at Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen achieving a First Class Honours. His design work achieved a nomination for a RIBA President's Medal in 2001.

He qualified as an architect in 2002 and has worked for both locally renowned architects, Henry Mein Partnership in Nottingham and for internationally acclaimed Cartwright Pickard Architects in Leeds. He worked on much of the renaissance in Nottingham's Lace Market and regeneration zones. He has also worked in London and Leeds on a number of projects related to regeneration and urban planning.

Iain then worked for a major regeneration developer in the East Midlands, working on acclaimed urban regeneration schemes in major urban centres across the UK.

Iain formed ORME Architects in 2008, bringing his experience of architect and developer together, offering a unique blend of knowledge providing clients with the surety that ideas are both innovative and realistic.
