Iain Orme - BArch (Hons) Dip. Arch ARB Iain qualified as an architect in 2001 having studied at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen where he won a series of design awards and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Architecture. Iain has worked on multi-million pound award winning mixed use and regeneration schemes across the UK for the Henry Mein Partnership, Cartwright Pickard Architects and Lace Market Properties where he became an Associate Director in 2006. Iain’s passion for regeneration of brownfield sites with the highest design quality means that every project he takes on, small or large is tackled with a vigorous approach which explores widely to design the most deliverable scheme for the Client whilst ensuring the quality of the design remains of paramount importance. Iain has led a series of projects including the PictureWorks, No.1 Brook Street & Enfield Chambers and has experience in a number of specialist fields including built heritage and urban design. He also has experience of leading planning appeals and providing design expert witness services for Clients. Iain has also found time to renovate one house of his own and is currently embarking on his second house renovation whilst also enjoying walking the footpaths and sampling the beers and food of the Nottinghamshire countryside. |
