The Anstey Smile Centre project involved the comprehensive remodelling of a former post office and an outdated dental practice to create a contemporary healthcare facility at the heart of the village. The design unifies the existing buildings into a cohesive architectural composition, introducing a modern façade, improved accessibility and high-quality internal clinical spaces.
A key element of the scheme is the creation of a new public space to the front of the building, enhancing the street scene and providing a welcoming arrival for patients.
Thoughtful landscaping, seating and clear wayfinding help establish a strong civic presence. The project demonstrates how sensitive adaptation of existing buildings can deliver modern healthcare environments while contributing positively to the public realm and local community.
